Serena Issa is a doctoral extern and a third-year doctoral student at The Chicago School, pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. At Loudoun Psychological Services, she works with clients across the lifespan, providing therapy under the supervision of licensed clinicians.

Prior to her doctoral training, Serena worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families through evidence-based interventions. In addition to therapy, she has experience conducting psychological assessments under supervision, which inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
Serena takes a collaborative and supportive approach, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and empowered as they work toward their goals. She integrates evidence-based practices while tailoring care to each client’s unique needs.
Serena views therapy as a collaborative journey and is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges while fostering resilience, self-growth, and meaningful change. Her goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients can build on their strengths, gain insight, and move toward personal well-being.
