LPS takes pleasure in offering clients an account statement known as a "super-bill," enabling clients to submit it to their insurance provider.

While LPS presently does not provide psychiatric services, we anticipate introducing this new service in early 2024.

LPS currently offers a range of testing services, which include assessments for ADHD, ASD (limited availability), Bariatric evaluations, Neuropsychological Testing (assessing cognitive function and dementia), as well as assessments for Personality Disorders. It's important to be aware that not all insurance companies may cover the expenses associated with these assessments, and in some cases, the costs may count towards your deductible. We recommend that clients verify their coverage with their insurance provider.
Please keep in mind that Neuropsychological testing necessitates a referral to establish medical necessity, making it an eligible service under most insurance providers. Additionally, this service is typically available to clients aged 18 and older.

In certain situations, your insurance provider may mandate a referral for testing. Neuropsychological Testing, in particular, consistently necessitates a referral. For additional testing services, certain plans may also demand referrals. We recommend contacting your insurer for further clarification. LPS can assist with details that may be needed for any referrals or pre-approvals.

Appointment reminders come complete with a Square payment link for the upcoming appointment or any prior appointments. Additionally, Square sends out monthly invoices, and some clients might receive paper invoices. You're also encouraged to reach out to our office for phone payments anytime.

LPS provides therapy services for children as young as 8 years old. It's important to note that not all of our clinicians are available to offer therapy to this specific age group, which means that availability may be limited at times. We prioritize providing care promptly and do not maintain a waiting list for children. Our goal is to ensure that they receive care as soon as possible. If we are unable to accommodate your child's needs, we would be happy to furnish you with a list of alternative providers in our local area.

LPS mandates that you reach out to your clinician, or our office, with a minimum of 24 business hours' notice before your scheduled appointment to prevent incurring a late fee that is not reimbursable by your insurance provider.

LPS extends a warm invitation to clinicians who wish to explore our practice further. We provide a variety of contract options tailored to clinicians' specific requirements. For more information, please visit https://loudounpsychology.com/moreinfo/careers.html for additional details.

Upon joining our practice, you will be provided with a comprehensive document detailing our privacy and confidentiality policies, an integral component of the intake and service consent procedure. A digital copy of this document will also be accessible through your patient portal. Furthermore, during your initial appointment, your clinician will thoroughly address matters of confidentiality and warmly welcome any inquiries you may have.

The waitlist comprises individuals who have recently sought therapy or testing services from Loudoun Psychological Services. Our Clinical Director assesses the waitlist to ascertain if we can accommodate your service request and pair you with a clinician suited to your requirements. Should we be unable to find a suitable match or if there's a delay of more than a month in scheduling an appointment, we will furnish you with a list of recommended referrals.

Currently, we do not have any available clinicians with the necessary training to care for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

At this time, our clinicians are not trained to offer reunification therapy.
