Ryley Howard is a third-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at The Chicago School in Washington, DC. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School in 2024 and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Miami in 2021.

Ryley is completing her pre-doctoral therapy externship at Loudoun Psychological Services under the supervision of Dr. Alex Gibson and Dr. Don Jaskulske. Prior to graduate training, she worked as a tutor and mentor for children with learning disabilities in Miami, an experience that ignited her passion for supporting children and adolescents.
A former Division I athlete, Ryley has a strong interest in sports and performance psychology. She is currently conducting her dissertation research on the neurocognitive abilities of athletes. Outside of academics, she enjoys all aspects of wellness and values holistic approaches to healing and growth.
Clinically, Ryley primarily practices from a psychodynamic perspective while integrating cognitive-behavioral interventions when appropriate. She believes that meaningful healing in the present often begins with exploring and understanding our past experiences. Ryley is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and strives to support each client in making meaningful, lasting change.
