Nathara Bailey is a doctoral candidate at The Chicago School, Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Nathara has supported clients through a wide range of life experiences, including major transitions, grief, complex family relationships, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. She brings a strength-based, culturally responsive lens to her work. Nathara integrates an insight driven approach, cognitive-behavioral interventions, attachment-based perspectives, and mindfulness practices.
Nathara also has a growing interest in working with couples, helping partners navigate communication challenges, deepen emotional connection, and foster healthier relationship dynamics. She also has experience providing services in psychological testing. At the heart of Nathara’s approach is a deep respect for each person’s story. She believes that your background, identity, and lived experiences shape how you move through the world, and honoring those experiences is essential to the healing process.
