Loudoun Psychological Services is the fastest growing group mental health and well-being practice in Loudoun County. Our licensed clinicians accept most major health insurance plans, including Virginia Medicaid and Medicare. As a courtesy for our clients, If you have health insurance, we will gladly file claims for your treatment once your coverage and benefits have been verified. Your estimated co-pays and deductibles will be collected prior to service at each visit. These numbers are often only estimates as your insurance company is often unable to provide exact information to us because your policy is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company. We are not a party to that contract.
Regardless of what your insurance policy pays or does not pay, you are fully responsible for any unpaid balance not paid by your insurance after 90 days. It is essential that you review and understand your insurance coverage for outpatient therapy services prior to your first appointment. We will provide an intake coordinator who will review your insurance information, check mental health benefits, and file the insurance claim. Our coordinator will assist you to schedule your initial appointment with the provider, after which you and your provider will develop an agreed upon treatment plan and schedule. You will simply be responsible for your copay at the time of your visit with the therapist or psychologist without paying the expensive out-of-pocket costs typically associated with such services and having your insurance company reimburse you the money.
While specific coverage may vary among our staff, currently, most LPS providers accept the following insurances:
